Co-Founder
Dr. Orhan Kayaalp is a 35-year veteran in academia. He began his career as Professor of Economics and Management at Lehman College/CUNY. He has pioneered many highly successful undergraduate and graduate programs in business and economics at Lehman, including several exchange programs with institutions abroad. He led all of those programs as director and later on as the Chairman of Lehman’s Department of Economics and Management, a position he held until 2013.
Dr. Kayaalp also served as an Academic Coordinator of Social Science Programs at the Hiroshima Campus of The City University of New York, as a Research Associate at The Center on Social Welfare Policy and Law at Columbia University, and as Senior Economist for a National Health Institute-sponsored project conducted simultaneously at the Graduate School of The City University and Downstate Medical School of The State University of New York.
Dr. Kayaalp’s honors and awards are numerous, including a Fulbright Research Fellowship Award to Italy, a fellowship from the Italian National Center for Research (CNR), and prestigious visiting professorships at the Italian National Institute of Public Finance, University of Pavia, and at the Italian National Institute of Economic and Social Research, University of Turin. Dr. Kayaalp was also awarded the Medal of Merit from Bocconi-The Commercial University of Milan and the National Merit Award from the University of Ferrara, both in recognition of his substantial contribution to the Italian theory of public finance.
The author of the internationally recognized and frequently cited book, The National Element in the Development of Fiscal Thought (London: Macmillan-Palgrave, 2004), Dr. Kayaalp has also presented dozens of papers at foremost national and international conferences, and his articles and book chapters have appeared in numerous academic journals and anthologies.
Dr. Kayaalp holds a Ph.D., MA, and MPhil in Economics from the Graduate School and University Center, City University of New York. In addition, he holds aMBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, NJ, and a BA from the Faculty of Political Science, Ankara University, Turkey.

Agron Matoshi has more than a decade of professional experience evaluating foreign academic credentials and international admissions. An established expert on all levels of education around the world, he has participated in dozens of panel discussions, presentations, workshops and publications on international education and related topics.
Before joining the Institute of Foreign Credential Services, Agron worked as a Senior Credentials Analyst at SpanTran Evaluation Services where he established policies for evaluation of foreign credentials, trainined and supervised staff, and created training manuals. Prior to that he was a consultant at Morningside Evaluations.
Agron served in various capacities with the City University of New York. He began his career in higher education at Lehman College as an Admissions Advisor and soon after become responsible for advising international students and evaluating international credentials for undergraduate, graduate, adult degree and continuing education programs. He also worked closely with deans and directors of departments to establish several dual degree and exchange programs, including the Korean Nursing Program, Sungshin Visitor Program, Turkish Exchange Program, Antigua Nursing Program and MD to BSN Program.
Agron is a recognized opinion leader who has delivered presentations on the educational systems of Albania, Kosova, and Macedonia. He is also the co-author of NAFSA’s Online Guide to Educational Systems Around the World: Albania.
Agron holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the City College of New York and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Lehman College, CUNY.

A gifted educator herself, Vera Memaçi has been an Adjunct Professor at Lehman College, Bronx, New York, teaching courses in mathematics. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Mathematics Education at Columbia University.
Vera has received numerous awards and honors, including the Peter Jennings Scholarship Laurel Award, McNair Scholarship, Computer Science and Mathematics Scholarship, College Transition Fellowship, and Minority Scholarships of the Teachers College Columbia University; and she has been elected to the Golden Key International Honor Society as well as Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Mu Epsilon Honor Societies.
Vera has been a member of the Association of Teachers of Mathematics of NYC, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State.
Vera holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics and a B.A. in Mathematics (Magna Cum Laude), both from Lehman College. She is also a Certified Mathematics Teacher.
